Reggae Festival Website Jammin’
Lauren Drummond of LMJ Productions, one of the founders of the not-for-profit company, Upstate Reggae on the River Inc., and producer of the Upstate Reggae on the River eco music festival, contacted Engines of Creation to design a media rich website for the festival. The site has been live now for about a month and there have been many positive responses by visitors and artists alike. Many people have already visited the website and ticket sales are healthy, a combination that will make for a successful event debut.
Upstatereggaeontheriver.org is designed to showcase the many talented reggae artists that will be attending this historic Hudson Valley reggae event. Just some of the notable acts include; Luciano with Jah Messenjah band and Mikey General, Seguida and Leon & the People’s Band. The website offers samples of the various song samples using a customized MP3 player as well as YouTube video samples. Important information is also available to the public about the venue, rules, opportunities to volunteer and directions to the event using GoogleMaps.
The website allows for anyone interested in attending the reggae event the opportunity to easily purchase rickets online, and for vendors and reggae festival volunteers to download respective applications and interested artists to contact the producers of the show.
