Williamsburg based Aseptic Technologies, LLC, is the proud recipient of the ’2010 Innovator of the Year’ Award from the Virginia Inventor’s Forum (VIF). This award selects and honors an individual whose outstanding invention can be considered a true innovation. Timothy J. Ladison, CEO of Aseptic Technologies, accepted the award on May 6, 2010 at the Hampton Roads Technology Council’s (HRTC) Tech Nite, which is an annual recognition event for hi-tech companies, individuals, entrepreneurs and
innovators.
The PORTS © System is a technologically advanced, portable sterilization and storage system for re-usable surgical equipment. The patents-pending technology allows for early-stage verification of sterilization and the proprietary filters eliminate the need for materials and labor required by the current sterilization process. The unique design of the PORTS © system meets the growing need for healthcare facilities to implement innovative cost reduction as well as GREEN initiatives.
