How do I use my website update time?
- To use your time, simply call, email or submit a ticket to request work.
- Time is good throughout your plan year. Time rolls over from month to month, and up 3 months can be carried to the next year. (see rollover info).
- We'll keep track of the hours, and keep you updated with usage reports and encourage you to use your time.
What can I use website update time for?
It's your time, use it for any of our hourly services, including website design, text and image updates, new website pages, ecommerce updates, design or adding new products, website consulting, email marketing and more. For larger request and for net-new projects, we will prepare a quote and scope of work separately.

Can I roll-over my time?
- Unused time remains available throughout your annual plan term.
- At renewal, clients may carry forward (roll-over) unused time in our Support Blocks, up to the equivalent of 3 months of your plan's included hours.
- Hours carried over must be scheduled and used within 90 days of the renewed term.
Because we reserve team capacity for every maintenance client, unused time does not accumulate indefinitely or convert to a separate project budget. If your needs change, we will review your usage and priorities before renewal and recommend the plan level that best fits your website roadmap.
Do I have to host with Engines of Creation?
No, you do not, but from our experience of 20+ years, it is much faster (and cost effective) for us to solve any issues when a website is hosted with us, eliminating the need to spend time in a phone tree, and back and forth with inexperienced technical support.
How long does it take to do an update?
We pride ourselves on our turnaround. Typically updates are done in 1-3 business days, with 90% being done in the same day.
