Since 1985 the mission of First Credit Corporation has been to help people secure financing for their dream homes. A premier manufactured home financier and insurer, First Credit Corporation also offers financing and insurance for power sports equipment, watercraft, and snowmobiles, all through a quick and simple online application. As First Credit Corporation’s list of services and products grew, so did its website. As a result, their website and branding lost their focus, the application process became confusing, and the number of services offered made targeting a specific product for advertising practically impossible. In addition, their customer base was growing as well, and they needed a way to effectively communicate with customers where English wasn’t their primary language.

From the start, not only was it essential to understand First Credit Corporation’s core audience and business model but what their goals and expectations were for the project as a whole. Over several engaging meetings with First Credit Corporation, we discovered a great deal about the company, its customers, and its brand, enabling us to plan their project thoroughly. The importance of this information cannot be understated, as it truly is the foundation of all successful design projects.

Once we completed our discovery phase, we meticulously detailed every portion of First Credit Corporation’s project, from its exciting and brand-enforcing color scheme to the software and imagery we used to create the site. We chose WordPress as the foundation of the new website for its features, flexibility, and ease of use. Since they subscribed to one of our Managed WordPress site plans they only need to worry about updating their website’s content and imagery. At the same time, we handle everything else, from hosting and support to software updates and security. This approach saves them both time and money by reducing employee training, and IT costs.

To help the team at First Credit Corporation gather feedback from their customers while boosting Local SEO we integrated our powerful review generation tool. We combined it with 3rd party review sites like Google, Facebook, and the Better Business Bureau. We carefully re-organized the website’s look and feel with the First Credit Corporation staff to place a spotlight on their Manufactured Home Financing and insurance services and created a custom landing page to convert ad traffic to submitted applications.

Engines of Creation also created the new website to be multilingual, so First Credit Corporation could connect with a more diverse audience and continue to reach and attract new customers. Finally, working hand in hand with their financing staff to streamline their online application process to ensure that filling out an application online was fast, easy, and secure.

Since the launch of the re-designed First Credit Corporation website, online application rates have been steadily increasing. Website visitors find the information they seek faster, with fewer roadblocks, less confusion, and the overall site bounce rate has diminished. Our review generation tool has helped generate a generous amount of reviews and increased First Credit Corporation’s NPS (Net Promoter Score) to a healthy score of 97 out of 100.
